Development Plan
Adelaide’s development plan focuses on the scene, setting and recreational opportunities of Muskegon Lake and the West Michigan lakeshore. Residences, public parks, slips, dining and events come together in a thoughtful and deliberate way to create an effortless focus on sustainability, design and recreation. Paired with first-class residences, accommodations and amenities, a sense of well-being for all members of the community integrates Muskegon’s past, present and exciting future.
Initially conceived by Mr. and Dr. Ryan and Emily Leestma, their lifelong experiences on the water and traveling internationally created a passion for access, design and sustainability that is reflected in every portion of the development. New to West Michigan concepts being introduced by the Leestmas include sustainable mass timber construction, modern Scandinavian architecture, integrated public access, dedicated EV transportation and pervasive renewable energy generation. The vision of Adelaide Pointe is simple; do it better than anyone has ever done it in West Michigan.
